I have substantial experience of providing counselling and therapuetic support services to people over the telephone having worked for the National Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), ChildLine, and Carecall Solutions.

In 2010, I began offer counselling services online via Skype, which works in a similar way to a normal telephone system. Telephone or web counselling can just be as effective as face-to-face therapy.

The main advantage of telephone or online counselling is that I can work with you wherever you live. It doesn’t matter if you live in a different city, country or country.

For other clients, telephone / web counselling is their preferred mode of contact. There are some things that can be said on the telephone, or over the web that might be too difficult to say face-to-face, at least at first. You do not even have to use your real name. This is important for some people for whome confidentiality is a major concern.

As with face-to-face work, telephone / web work is done by appointment at regular times each week, unless we agree otherwise.

The cost of telephone / web counselling is charged by the minute and you are only charged for the time used, e.g. the time on a call, or the time online.
